After you submit: what each stage means
Every message Meta shows after an appeal, decoded.
Stuck? Skip the letters and send your case to people who do this every day.
We'll handle it for you| What you see | What it means | Your move |
|---|---|---|
| "We're reviewing your appeal" | Your appeal is in the queue. | Don't resubmit. Don't log in repeatedly. |
| Request for ID or selfie | Identity check before review. | Upload once, cleanly. See ID guide. |
| "You're back on Instagram" | Restored. | Secure it: email, phone, two-factor, remove unknown apps. |
| "We disabled your account" / no review button | Internal review is closed. | Look at escalation options. |
| Silence | Still queued, or the case stalled. | One polite follow-up through a support channel. |
Keep a simple log: date, route used, text sent, screenshots. It makes any later escalation far easier.
UnbanPro tracks all of this for you and keeps you posted on WhatsApp. Read about accounts stuck under review.
How long to wait
Meta doesn't publish fixed review times. Set your own date: the deadline in your letter. When it passes, send the follow-up letter and look at escalation.
Questions people ask
Does logging in repeatedly slow things down?
It doesn't help. Check once a day at most.
