Facebook Page and group appeal templates
Write as the admin, attach proof and keep it about the Page.
Stuck? Skip the letters and send your case to people who do this every day.
We'll handle it for youPages and groups are appealed by an admin, from the Page's own status area (Professional dashboard or Page quality), or for groups from the group's admin tools. Write as the admin, not as a fan of the page.

Page lost after admin was hacked
A taken-over Page is a different problem from a restricted one. UnbanPro explains the Page admin hacked case.
Before you appeal a Page
- Open Page quality or the Professional dashboard and note every flagged item.
- Remove anything that really does break the rules. Reviewers check the current state.
- Make sure at least two trusted admins have two-factor turned on.
Group admins: show you moderate
Groups get restored when admins show they're in control. Mention membership questions, post approval, admin rules and keyword alerts if you use them.
Questions people ask
Can a group member appeal for the group?
No. It has to be an admin or moderator.
What if the only admin was hacked?
Recover that profile first, then restore admin access. See our sister site's guide to business assets after a hack.
